"Cleanliness "

"Nice hotel, comfy room but quite dark, nowhere to do makeup. Noisy from the street but expected that. Breakfast a little unimpressive and staff not the most attentive, just left to sort yourself out. Very dated room in much need of a makeover but bed was comfortable and shower was good. "

"We liked where the property was situated. The staff were friendly & efficient & the breakfast & pub meals were lovely. The bedroom was spacious & clean. The bathroom was small but adequate but the sink was blocked. Someone did try to unblock it but that resulted in a leak. It didn't make our stay any less enjoyable though. "

"This hotel is convenient for visiting the city centre, cathedral and shops. My only criticism is that we were not forewarned about off site chargeable parking. This is not clear on the Hotel.com website. Staff and facilities at the hotel can't be faulted."

"The staff were fabulous, parking easy, shower powerful and the breakfast was excelllent. The rooms are tired, the bed was very soft and lumpy and the walls and ceiling paper thin. The lovely staff made up for some of the shortcomings. "
