"We stayed at Burt’s the night before commencing our long distance walk along St Cuthbert’s Way. Upon our arrival we were greeted incredibly warmly. My suitcase was carried up to our room - which was very much appreciated. We enjoyed a tasty evening meal & hearty breakfast which ensured an excellent start to our hike. The team were attentive & nothing was too much trouble. I’d recommend Burts to anyone & would happily stay again. Thank you team Burt’s for a lovely nights stay! "

"Two-night stay in April, Peebles is a small town and the Tontine is centrally located with ~10 parking spaces behind it. The staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and assistance with have some laundry done overnight. The included breakfast was excellent and filling. Would stay there again."
