"I love historic hotels such as this one. Everything is clean and atmospheric ,I liked my room very much. The attached restaurant serves nightly specialtes of local recipes. On the expensive side though I've found all dining in Israel is relatively expensive compared with Europe and other countries. The location is excellent next to Garden Tomb and easily walkable to Damascus Gate. Helpful owner. Breakfast included. Recommended and would stay again. "

"I had mixed up the dates and was prepared to pay for a new room. But the staff, Maria and her colleague, sorted everything out, made a lot of phone calls so i did not need to pay for new rooms. Offered me coffe as I waited, gived me a room before they even got confirmation from hotels.com that it was okey to switch. Upgraded the room with balcony, water etc just to be nice.
