"Despite some unseasonal cold and wet weather and suffering from colds caught on the ferry from GB we really enjoyed our 2 weeks at L’Abeille Bleue. What made it so great was the warmth of our hosts Didier and Patricia, a most welcoming and generous couple. Didier was so concerned that we understood how the heating system worked (we really needed it!) that he came in twice to check that we understood it. And we also benefitted greatly from gifts of fruit (peaches, apples, figs) and vegetables...

Es verfügt über 2 Terrassen und an kühleren Tagen kann gern der Kamin benutzt werden. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut: Küche, Wohnzimmer, Bad und Schlafzimmer bieten alles für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet; in das Zentrum sind es ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß....

"Lovely little break, and lots of space for the whole family. But the Vrbo listing is a 3rd party agent. We chose to book this property for all the amenities included only to find a week before that we'd be charged extra for bedding and towels, the property owner then saying she doesn't use Vbro and advertises through someone else and advertises for the extras on their site. Not a ruined holiday but added another level of worry when we only discovered this the day before getting on a ferry"

It is a lovely home that is part of a renovated compound surrounded by grape vinyeards near the adorable town of Franceuil. "We found 81 Bis to be a perfect location with plenty to do within a few miles of our base. The apartment was well equipped with views over the garden on 2 sides and parking for our car plus safe storage for the bikes. Shopping within easy reach and the beautiful city of Tours just 12 miles away. For us the bed was very hard and not to our liking but it might well suit other people. We are both 72 and enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you"
