"Excellent location. Close to shops and restaurants. No steep climbs to get to property either. Taxis easily available 2 min walk. Only one downside was that check in wasn’t till 4pm. However, the management was happy for me to drop my luggage earlier so I could explore Funchal. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend."

Really well appointed with everything we needed including a complimentary bottle of Maderian Wine which was soon consumed. Swimming pool was really nice to cool down in. Although it was a bit of a drive to get up to the property it was very pleasant and made for the great views. "A fabulous location, and surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the old town. Apartment 1 is at the top of the building with 2 steep staircases to navigate. But once up there it is airy and bright with everything you could need. No hanging space for clothes but lots of room to store items flat. Accommodating and quick response to messages with host.
