"The hotel is in a very tranquil, country setting but not far from Bilbao. It is an old house that has been beautifully restored in a rustic manner. The lady, who seemed to do everything, was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a very modern shower. The evening meal and breakfast were plentiful and good quality. The only negative thing was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep."

"It was deep in snow when we arrived and my husband didn’t believe the sat nav so we were lost, we called the hotel and the owner actually got in his car in the snow and came and found us knowing we had an English number plate, well impressed!
