"Overall a comfortable room, although we could have each used a second pillow. It was nice to have a refrigerator but be aware that while there is an induction cook top, there are no utensils, plates/bowls/cups or pots/pans. Not sure if you could ask the staff to bring those things. There is a cafe in the lobby that was very convenient for coffee and food. The location was perfect if you plan to use the metro to get around although we're walkers and might choose to stay closer to Plaza España (up the hill) for our next visit. Casa de Campo park is just around the corner from the hotel- highly suggest taking a stroll through it and enjoying a drink and tapas by the lake! The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to view the city and plan our daily excursions or watch the sunset! One other thing to note is that there are a lot of international students living there long term. It felt like a dorm in the US but we didn't experience any problems with that. The students were very nice and respectful- we had no noise complaints about them. "

"You can tell the quality of staff when they are faced with an unexpected challenge. During the blackout on April 28th, the staff went above and beyond to ensure their guests were safe and cared for. Staff kept guests informed of the situation, placed lighting in stairs and lobby, kept the restaurant open to feed guests, and escorted guests to their rooms when needed. We selected this hotel due to it’s proximity to the Rock and Roll Marathon start and finish lines and were not disappointed. Staff is highly professional and caring. Madrid is very walkable, but if you need the metro, a station is less than a 5 minute walk. Restaurant is excellent. Room was large enough for our one week stay. Cleaned daily by the very attentive maid service. Their actions during the blackout ensured a safe and quality stay."

"I happened to stay here under the most extraordinary circumstances - the night of the Spain/Portugal power outage in April 2025. I was lucky enough to have booked a room, but when I arrived (at midnight!) there were 50-70 stranded travelers from the nearby Chamartin station scattered throughout the lobby. They had nowhere to go, and while the hotel was fully booked, they still provided comforters for those travelers so they would not have to sleep outside, or at the station (hundreds more had done so that night). The consideration they made in those extraordinary circumstances was an incredible display of compassion, and alone warrants 5 stars from me."
