"My wife got stuck in the bathroom due to a faulty door. It took over an hour of me harassing the hotel staff to get maintenance that was dealing with a broken elevator. I pointed out no one was actually in the elevator, and in the event of a fire, my wife would be trapped. The manager was dismissive and didn’t care. "Enjoyed the stay for a nice chilled holiday in Es Canar. Stone throw away from beach and good restaurants. It is classed as 2 star hotel but i wouldn't fault it . Very good breakfast in with price. The lunch menu was standard fayre but was lovely and so reasonable. Good standards all round"

"The family room was great for us and would recommend for other families like ours. Is in a great location near the beach and the fairground. The pools are very nice for the kids. The meal times were a little inconvenient for us, dinner started at 7pm by which time our young children are usually in bed! Luckily, there are a lot of great restaurants easily walkable that we utilised nearer the end of our stay. We have been to Es Canar many times and love it, we will be returning."

"This comfy apart hotel was comfy and homey. The owner is a talented fotographer and her work was all over the property from beautiful sites from Ibiza . The wrap around terrace with dining table was so nice. We had the most amazing stay. Cliffs and beaches very close. Bus stop for airport and more directly across the street. "Lovely hotel in a great location. It has a beautiful pool and new-ish sun loungers. The room was functional. We hired the safe for €3 per day. The maid visited daily and tidied the room well. A relatively minor grumble...the beds were not the most comfortable. Our stay was in late October so the hotel was very, very quiet and many bars, restaurant and shops in Es Cana had already closed or closed while we were in town. If you hire a car don't leave it too late to park up otherwise you may find...

"Nice property, very clean, lovely food, stunning roof top terrace and great location! However, don’t be mislead with the word Boutique in the hotel name - it isn’t! Some areas have modern touches but much of the hotel is still old fashioned and basic. Also, was rather disappointed that the vast majority of rooms have a window, not a balcony. There was no mention of this or option to book a balcony prior to arrival. In all my years of travel, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a beach hotel...

"Was a lovely area and a lovely stay. Owners were so welcoming. Only negative was that the room was very hot at all times. We had fans for each room but felt like it was just blowing the hot air. Air con was needed. Overall was a good stay and would stay again. Very close to local bars and shops too. Perfect place if you want to be close to it all but far enough away you can’t hear anything outside the room. "

"We stayed just one night on our way through to a different area on the island and weren't sure what to expect from the star rating however the staff couldn't have been more lovely. We had a shocking journey over from UK with a flight delayed several hours and huge delay collecting our car hire meaning we didn't arrive until after 1am and with two very tired young children in tow we were struggling to park nearby.
