"Beautiful view. Water heater was great. We appreciated the communication in English. Well lighted bathrooms. The stepping stones used as stairs are uneven, some wobbly, and no hand rails, which made them very UNSAFE. The home needs a new latch on the gate and a handle on the patio door. The downstairs was dusty and many spider webs. Drapes or blidownstairs"

"We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds."

"It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

"Ein wunderbarer Ort um kurz abzuschalten. Das Haus und die Küche sind sehr gut eingerichtet und sehr heimelig. Der gesamte Garten ist eingezäunt für Hunde/Kinder und es hat sehr bequeme Liegestühle. Es liegt zwar direkt an der Strasse, wenn man aber hinten raus sitzt und die Schlafzimmer hinten raus hat ist es absolut kein Problem. Gerne wieder!"

"Unsere drei Tage im Hüttli waren super. Die Location ist schön ländlich und doch ist man schnell in St.Gallen oder Appenzell. Wir genossen die warme Stube und die verschneite Winterlandschaft, welche wir mit den Schneeschuhen durchquerten, sehr. Walter ist ein guter und freundlicher Gastgeber mit schönem Appenzeller Dialekt und Humor!"

"Very spacious for a family of 9 members. Far enough from the city to enjoy from the quietness of the place. The view of the mountain range and the community is breathtaking. Jambo Pua was just the perfect place where parents and my girls’ families bonded with good conversation. The instruction were clear and easy to follow."

"We spent a very enjoyable 3 days at the chalet - the view from the balcony was like being in a postcard! Everything was new and clean, and the laundry was so helpful. We walked to the chairlift for a day of hiking in the Alps, visited the Zwingli house just down the road, and discovered the Fortuna Cafe and nearby waterfalls. Made pizza on the outdoor oven and the cow parades passing the chalet were an extra treat to experience on the last day! TV and the upstairs bedroom are small, but great...
