"We had a wonderful 8 night stay in this luxury resort. The ocean villa was huge and had wonderful sunset views. We loved the large infinity pool on the main island, the snorkelling on the house reef where we saw stingrays and reef sharks, the variety of restaurants and the overall luxury feel of the resort."

"The property was a great size to explore with excellent staff and amenities. The food was amazing and overall facilities, design, and state was brilliant. We would go back in a heart beat. The one item that left us really disappointed was the fixed transfer, I couldn’t see way it wasn’t included considering we weren’t allowed any other option. The other item was the pool in our water villa, we didn’t use due the grease and oil on the tiles staining out body and swimwear when touched. We asked to have it cleaned twice but nothing was done "

"Varu was great. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with our friends who celebrated their 30th. We stayed in over-the-water villas in dolphin jetty. Really enjoyed the room, the private pool, and private access directly into the ocean. The staff was very friendly. The food options were great. The island was just the right size to be dedicated to the entire resort. We loved the experience. Highly recommend coming to Varu. "

"We had the most amazing stay. The staff is super friendly and facilities great. Had the best time snorkeling too. Any 'on top' activities like massages, day trips or diving experiences were super expensive. But we had a fab time without any extras. The food is very good although limited vegetarian/ vegan options. "

"Great property. Clean , well maintained and contained/ easily walkable on small island. Spa was good. Occasional misses on food orders at restaurants (forgot to bring out one order for our party of 8 a few times but we were there at year end and resort was at capacity). Staff is helpful- food was quite good for 5 day stay. Many vegetarian options. Weather was good for 2 days then heavy rain and gusts so we stayed indoors but we were able to enjoy pool and snorkeling on first two days. Overall a great time- would have been better without the rain but can’t hold it against the resort and staff. Highly recommended!"
