"We had a great week here in August. Large garden, lots of parking and many beaches within 30 minutes. You can walk into town along the river to get bread in the morning. The staircase to the upper floor begins in the master bedroom; we didn't mind this but some might. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. I would describe the style as shabby chic."

I would learn a few words of welcome in my guests language and to explain workings of equipment. Idéal pour une soirée conviviale au coin du feu et un bon dodo à l'étage ! Et super accueil de Anne, qui se fera une joie de vous partager l'histoire du lieu Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter des 14 hectares servant à la protection des animaux, nous espérons revenir une prochaine fois pour ça! "We had a lovely stay at this traditional old Stone property. The bedrooms were very comfortable but only one toilet upstairs meant going to the loo in the night wasn’t easy. Also the bathrooms only had hand held showers in the baths which wasn’t ideal. The housekeeper that met us was very friendly and helpful and explained everything very clearly. "It was a traditional french cottage and was a little basic and lighting was a bit poor at night. But as the weather was good we were outside a lot with the dog and the garden is great. Everything worked in the house but internet reception is quite poor unless you go to the garage.Had not realised we would be opposite other guests in a bigger place but that was no problem and made it interesting.
