"Good clean and great room"

"We came for a weekend away. My son wanted that instead of a birthday party for his birthday. We brought our own firewood for the outdoor firepit, and it turned out they already had a huge stack of wood under the back porch. It rained the whole weekend, but we had an incredible time. The cabin was relaxing, clean, comfortable, and well supplied with kitchen tools and gadgets. The Keurig didn't work, but they had a regular coffee maker. They have board games, puzzles, cozy blankets, and comfortable furniture. We did a movie night. We played games. We had a wonderful time, and my daughter said she wants to do that again when it's her birthday. My husband and I even talked about an adults weekend away, get a couple of friend couples together and just all relax together."

"The only negative is it's near a historic train or rail system, so you may hear a train. But, the rooms were pretty sound proof as I slept right on through the train, and I only heard it when I was eating breakfast. Very good experience."

"This was a great place for a quick trip. The buildings are dated but tge rooms have been updated. You are close to all the Blue Ridge areas/cities. As for safety, the hotel has upgraded to electric locks, in case anyone is worried about safety."

"Everything was amazing except the noise from the chairs moving above the room,other than that it was amazing. The staff was amazing. Enjoyed the atmosphere & the food at Flying Trout was delicious. Will definitely visit again "

"This place was perfect for our anniversary trip. It was super close to everything we wanted to check out, but still felt private and tucked away. We loved hanging out in the hot tub, watching the outdoor TV, and relaxing in the sauna. 10/10 "
