"The property is located a short drive from the Les Houches and St Gervais ski resorts, other locations in Chamonix can be easily reached too. It is well equipped and we had a very comfortable stay. The property also boasts a wonderful view of the mountains from the front door. There was no WiFi but there was an option to connect by cable. However, mobile signal was good so this was not a problem. I would recommend this property if you’re looking for a comfortable stay in the mountains."

Isabelle and Richard were ideal hosts, starting out by meeting our rental bike delivery before our official check-in time and making sure the bikes were secure in the locked ski storage closet. "We had a little trouble with check in, having to wait for the manager to meet us, thankfully we had a native French speaker who could phone them to organise. The house itself was very roomy, the kitchen was well supplied with appliances and utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. The washing machine and dryer was a bonus. The fireplace kept everything roasting warm and the radiators were very effective also. Lots of different spaces to retreat to. One small comment was that we paid €16 per person...

"A characterful house with a good big garden and a super location a short walk to the lovely beach at St Jorioz and also close to a practical town with useful services. Lovely to sit on the small balcony outside the kitchen window while someone else is cooking. This kitchen is small - as shown on the site - but worked out fine for our party of 10 as long as everyone is not in the kitchen at once.
