"The host is charming and helpful, the space is great. Its in the owner's garden, but she's very discreet and trees shield the main house and the guest house. Very convenient for several towns, villages, tourist sites, check the location. Very quiet village area, just one bar restaurant and a pizza take away. Beautiful quiet stay. "The former wine cellar stay was very much like we wanted. Some rustiness but plenty modern with all the conviences. we cooked often and enjoyed eating on the patio. It is secluded and quiet - a good 20 minutes from the city, but we enjoyed it. Jean Micheal was great with instructions and communications even though he was on holiday in Italy. Would book again for sure."

"Lovely rural Gite, perfect for time away from the crowds. Kind and helpful owners, great facilities with a lovely garden to enjoy time outdoors. Great swimming pool too. Train station15 minutes away - perfect for our day trip to Bordeaux. Lovely area, St Emilion is a must see and nearby village in Ruch has a good value restaurant with a very welcoming owner (about 25/30 minutes walk and a must for a leisurely lunch and a stroll). Car is a must to make the most of time available at the gite....

"We stayed for 3 nights to explore the area in and around Bordeaux. The cabin/chalet was exactly as described. It is in the lovely back garden of a home in a suburb of Bordeaux. We were very comfortable after a busy day of site seeing and travelling about. There isn't much around it to walk to for dining, so we bought food on our way back at the end of day to eat in."
