"We spent time here for our friends 50th birthday! We wanted a weekend away to just relax and this was perfect! We tanned on the dock and enjoyed the back porch! We would definitely stay here again!!! "

"We loved the house. We chose it for the outdoor amenities but when our trip rolled around, there were storms in the area so we didn't get to take advantage of that. We had an opportunity to grill on Saturday evening but the grill had not been cleaned so we cooked inside. The house had plenty of room for the 4 of us and I loved that each of the ladies had their own room with a comfy bed. Were a little disappointed that there were only 2 bedrooms with TVs when the ad said all bedrooms had TVs....

"We had such a good time. So much to do did not even need to leave. We fished for a little while and did not get one so hopefully next time we will. Planning on a trip in a few months so we can play in the pool! We had age ranges from 16 to 84 and was fun for all!"

"My cousin and I stayed here in April 2025 and drove about 30 minutes to Ennis to see the Bluebonnet fields and festival. Waxahachie has several cutie boutiques for a nice girls trip. The hosts were super nice. We called once for restaurant and more shopping suggestions. They definitely helped us out.The house was very clean and extremely organized. There is plenty of space. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. He hosts live just around the corner. I would definitely stay here again."

"House was gorgeous and game room was phenomenal. Our kids are in their 30’s, granddaughter is 12 and we are active 60’s. This was perfect as we all played ping pong, billiards, compound bow target practice, fishing and because of the large driveway we had brought a portable pickleball net. Taught 2 more of our members to play. This was the best vaca. Don’t miss seeing Bender Ranch with its wildlife a mile up the road. "

"Overall, the house was great for us. There were a few issues that I hope can be resolved before your next group. First, one toilet in the bunkhouse was very slow to fill up, so it wasn’t very usable. Also, the bunkhouse was not very clean. One girl had to brush away spider webs and ended up having two bites on her foot. Some of the sheets had a musty smell and the whole bunkhouse had an unpleasant odor.
