"The property is located across the street from the beach. We stayed on August. The ocean water was warm. We had the beach to ourselves most days. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I did look at reviews before my stay and I followed advise to bring a fan for sleeping. The house is old and has window unit ac, this was not a problem for us. We were out of the house most of the day and the house was cool enough for us in the evening. I did use the gas grill and everything works...

"My husband and I spent 40 nights at this cottage. We had an overall good experience. This quaint old place was clean with the exception of a few ants. The appliances, including air conditioning (and heat) all worked. The unit had some broken blinds in the smaller bedroom. I mentioned this via text to our host Allen when we first arrived. "Location of this property is superb. The pictures make it look a little bigger than it is but it is a lovely place to stay. Walkable to a couple great restaurants/bars. Easy 3 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Florida. I have to say, the only criticism I have is the parking spot is a little small. Other wise an amazing 5 star stay. Would go again in a heartbeat "

"Our stay at the Kozy Kottage was great. It was clean. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The two minute walk to the beach was easy. The beach was fairly quiet when we were there (not many people). The sunsets were great. The town was nice as well. Tiki Bar and Grille was our favorite place we went back a few times. Locke and Key Restaurant and Farlow on the Water were also good food and service. We plan to come back to Manasota Key in the future and would definitely stay at the Kozy Kottage...

"Enjoyed our weeks in Florida. We liked that the house was so close to the beach. Manasota beech is beautiful. The house is truly old Florida charm with the bright colors on the walls and beachy decor. We had some trouble with the lock- getting into the house. Peter was attentive and got the neighbor to help us. He also got the problem resolved in a reasonable time. Englewood is easy to navigate to go to retail stores and restaurants. Played pickleball on a beautiful public complex."

"We've spent two 4th of July's at this house and absolutely love it. The location is wonderful, the property manager is very responsive, and the house is so much more than you'd expect.
