"The house was comfortable and the fact the owners live next door makes it easy to sort out any problems that do occur. It is in a rather remote location so it is very peaceful but going anywhere requires a car trip. If you are tall (I am 1.90m) you have to be careful of the low doorways on which I banged my head several times. "We booked the cottage for a week's stay whike work was being done on our home. It was a real home from home too. Everything's there, including electric blankets to warm the beds. Although thd heating kept the cottage toasty, we turned most off except living room and bathroom. Loved the log burner too, a real focal point. Internet provided was good, a bonus as the phone signal there is poor, as is most of the local area due to hills etc. Would certainly recommend."
