The hotel takes bed & breakfast bookings but the bar & restaurant isnt open on Mondays. So we had to drive 15 minutes to another village for food. Not what we realy wanted to do, but the luckily the other pub served food. It only says on opening time that the bar & restaurant is closed Mondays. It needs to more clearer on website as why would we look at...

"We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. The owner was super friendly, very communicative and attentive. Thank you again! "

"A beautiful property with bags of charm. It was very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our hosts had left a lovely welcome basket and texted to make sure we had everything we needed. Well placed for visiting Rutland water and exploring the local area.
