"Nice hotel . We had no problems ."

"We had the most incredible 9 days at the Grand hotel! It was super quiet, which we like, and the staff were always eager to please. The food was unbelievable, both the buffet and the al carte options. I would give 10 stars if i could! I enjoyed yoga every morning on the beach, and our kids loved the lazy river/water slide! We enjoyed the ease of taking water taxi into town, as well as all the neat areas to explore by the resort (kayaking the lagoon, La Cruz for sunsets, secret beach, walking along the marina and into little village). The resort grounds are stunning as well as the building itself, it truly is Grand! The rooms do require a little maintenance *unfortunately our shower leaked all over our room at times, the toilet had a few issues and the beds weren't the best and a lil small for our family of 4, but it didnt hinder for the exquisite experience we had! We can't wait to come back!"

"Firstly the property was empty, the TV brand new like we had to remove the plastic. We needed a cab so the lady sent (presumably) her husband on a dirt bike into town to fetch one as they were taking awhile. Pool was beautiful rooms were clean, common area was well put together. I had asked how I prepare coffee and she said that she would take care of it. We had a wake up call at 8:50 of a girl with a pot of coffee she was dropping off. This was my only gripe and likely due to a translation error was being woken up then for that but I think it was their pursuit of going above and beyond due to my question the night before. For the price I’d say its worth it with the only sacrifice being 1km from the beach"
