"This was an extremely clean well maintained suite. Our view of the fishing boats on the canal was interesting to watch from our deck. We used the heated pool and relaxed on the deck chairs every day! The hosts were very helpful in every way even giving us their own fan on a hot still day. We hope to be back next year for a longer stay."

" The apartment is only about 50 meters from the beach, so the sound of the waves coming in is very peaceful. The apartment is very poorly equipped. Only one pot and one pan to cook meals with. No cupboards, no dresser. Bed is very comfortable. Deck is very hot during the day, so not really useable. Pool on the roof was nice, as one could sit in it and watch the whales in the bay. Recommended, in spite of the inadequacies."

"Location of the home was within short walking distance to several good restaurants and not far from the centre of Barra, its beach and malecon. Home was secure, clean, beds were comfortable and small pool very welcome on warmer days. Some minor street noise at times was only a minor annoyance. Would stay again."

"This was our first visit to Barra and we will definitely be back! Able was very accommodating and the condo was in perfect shape. The location is in the heart of old town and walkable to the Malecon, water taxis and restaurants. It was fairly quiet as it was early in the season but we got to know the locals and everyone is so welcoming. It is a small community that support one another and we felt like a new neighbor. "We are four retired women and quite enjoyed our stay. On the plus side - property is very large and very private. Wifi and air conditioning work well and showers were hot in two bathrooms but not .The pool was clean and well maintained. While we have no major complaints about the beds - the bed linens and pillows were in very rough shape. Bathrooms were extremely tiny and there was only one working kitchen. Overall the property has good potential but needs some work. Would stay there again."
