"To say this place is stunning is an understatement. It’s warm, cozy, inviting, and perfect for groups. The beds and pillows were so comfortable that I had to look at the tags to see if I could buy on Amazon! The host provides a pool table and basketball down in the basement which was so fun to play and the fully equipped kitchen made for easy family dinner prep. "The Haines Shoe House is am incredible experience for all ages. Our family group age range was 5-70. We all enjoyed our stay. Lots of things to do in the area. House was meticulously maintained and furnished. Campfire under the stars and hot tub great addition to our stay. "

The steps to the bedroom are very narrow and steep with a difficult landing at the top. Coming down the stairs takes some cautious negotiation as the railing does not go to the top of the stairs.
