"We really enjoyed this apartment and found it filled our needs in almost every way. The location was outstanding (near freeways, near great north Oakland/Berkeley neighborhoods). The bedrooms and fold out bed – including the door and privacy curtains in the living room - made for 3 nicely functional bedrooms. The kitchen, laundry room, breakfast nook: all great. Only critique: reading lamps! This made the fold out bedroom especially awkward (thankfully I had my headlamp for reading in bed). But...

"We had 7 people staying at the house as we were in town for a staff retreat. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable, and there were enough blankets, towels, kitchen supplies for all. The backyard was lovely, beautiful on a summer evening for an outdoor dinner. The owner was very communicative and quickly answered any questions that I had. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!"

"The innkeeper was incredible and was SO helpful with everything! The house was really detailed and my kids loved it! Our only issue was that it didn’t feel very clean. My mom ended up cleaning the inside of the microwave while we were there and a lot of the kitchen and bathrooms could have used a deep clean. "We loved Stella's ground floor apartment -- clean, bright, spacious, it served all of our needs. The kitchen had just enough of everything utensil-wise for us to cook simple meals. Very convenient neighborhood with easy parking. The only caveat is that we sometimes heard music at night -- loud bass on someone's sound system. But otherwise this is a real find and we enjoyed being able to spread out."

"Overall this property served its purpose. The area was a little rough around the edges but the location was convenient for getting both to Berkeley and San Francisco. The property was is some need of repairs. The gas dryer was not connected to gas and didn’t have any heat, the kitchen was functional but some of the cabinets were falling apart. The beds were comfortable and the space was ample for our group of seven."
