"I keep coming back when I go to Portland. It’s close to freeway but no noise, not a lot of food options other than McDonald-like but ask the staff and they might send you for Mexican (awesome and authentic about 1/2 mile away). The rooms are CLEAN and have recliners. No pool but free parking and WiFi. The staff is excellent each time I come. I enjoy my stays here."

"It’s obvious that there is remodeling of some sort going on. There are mattresses in the hallways and boxes. Just a little bit of a turn off. "

"Actually a wonderful location. Amazingly the food trucks that are permanent across the street are incredibly good. Everything is very clean and well kept and quiet except for the occasional train or traffic going by. It was an excellent value."

"I chose this property because it was close to my work for travel. I had my dog with me so i requested a pet friendly room. The room smelled like urine and the bed had stains on it. Obviously not clean from prior pet owners. Very bad smell. "

"I loved this hotel! Virtual check-in was easy. Loved being able to open my door with my phone, and as soon as I entered the suite, soft jazz was playing on the radio and a hand-written welcomed me. The deluxe queen suite was comfortable, so unique and the record player and records in the room were so cool. If you need anything, it’s just a text away. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. My room was above the street car so it got loud at night, but the room comes complete with ear plugs and a white noise machine which made all the difference for good sleeps. The bed was so comfortable. When I go back to Portland, I will definitely stay here again. "

"This is the second time my partner and I stayed at the Paramount (traveling from Pennsylvania). The valet service is absolutely worth the extra charge, simply for the convenience of just parking in front and not worrying about finding your own place to park. The two restaurants off the lobby are great! Nice options if you don't care to leave the property or are in a rush for time to grab some food and drink! Definitely a very reasonably priced, centrally located, and friendly staffed Hotel!"

"Staff was awesome and helpful - great service -especially because we arrived on a late flight. The only minor disappointment was the fridge in our room didn’t work and it was too late to get fixed, but it was minor. Definitely will stay here again. "

Excellent hotel in convenient downtown location

"Love this place. Friendly staff, free happy hour craft ale. Room was small but perfectly laid out and cosy and I found working for up to 5 hours at a time very compfortnable (as it was a work trip and I had a lot to catch up on between meetings). Love the free pinball tables downstairs for a bit of a break and the location is great. No breakfast but there are so many good cafes nearby it was fine."
