We had a couple of power cuts due to the bad weather but the host was in contact with us straight away to give us updates and the issue was fixed really quickly. "We loved our stay at the lodge. It was very well equipped and the location is beautiful. The hosts were super helpful with their communications. The lodge itself is a little tired looking but this didn't bother us. It was clean & tidy though. The location is very calm & peaceful but no amenities within easy walking distance. Again, this didn't bother us as we enjoyed the peace & quiet. "

"This property is perfect for a weekend away in the lakes. It’s very central in Coniston but still quiet so much so we never took the cars out at all! The house is well equipped and beautifully appointed and the communication from Brad was excellent. As noted in the details the staircase is steep and one of the bathrooms is one the second floor but we just felt you needed to be careful on them and then they were fine. Thanks Brad and Sue for a very memorable stay."

One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. "Booked for my husband's 60th. Accommodated the eight of us and the dog beautifully. Each couple had their own bathroom although the one by the front door was not ensuite but this was not a problem for us.The sofa is huge and we were all able it sit/stretchout comfortably. "Nice sized property with plenty of space and very well equipped. We were a party of 4 adults, 2 small children and dogs. The views were beautiful and the house was very clean. "

"Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is."
