"Just came back from a fabulous trip to this hotel. Lovely and clean and very well maintained- we were half board and the food was delicious and beautifully presented - they accommodated all our meal requests (we were 2 pescatarians and 2 non red meat eaters) so happily - as if it wasn’t an effort at all. Spa was lovely and we enjoyed the sauna steam thoroughly after we finished skiing for the day. It’s a quiet place so no nightlife, but it still suited us. Ski bus just around the side of hotel...

"Incredible, warm service and beautiful breakfasts with homemade ingredients, and lovely dinners (with the half board option) made this a memorable stay. Ingrid and Michael (owners/managers?) and the head housekeeper Slady each went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. The gingham duvets and pillow cases were charming, but the towels, oddly, were a bit threadbare."

"Das Appartment mit Galerie ist sehr groß, der Balkon geht über die gesamte Hausbreite (!), es gibt zwei Toiletten, der gemeinsame Raum ist sehr großzügig, gerade mal das Licht in der Essecke ist etwas schummrig und die Galerieabsperrung ziemlich niedrig (Vorsicht bei kleineren Kindern), aber ansonsten top. "For UK guests, having to take your own bedding and towels is a negative. Location is not a two-minute walk into town: ten minutes in, nearly twenty back as it’s all up! The bus from town finishes at 5pm. Kitchenette is facilitated - just. A dining table would be nicer than the fixed worktop, especially as there is room. The specification suggests there is a bedroom but it is a studio apt with a separate bathroom. Good sized balcony and large glass doors a definite bonus with a decent view."

"The property is accurately described and the apartment is furnished with everything that is needed for an extended stay. It is an easy walk down the hill to Ellmau from the apartment. The mountain views from the apartment are spectacular. The owner is very easy to communicate with and always responds in a timely fashion. Our stay was for three days and we hope to return again. Highly recommended!"
