"As advertised. Very spacious and comfortable sleeping for our 10 adults. Winter storm and probably 10 inches of snow that week and though a four-wheel-drive was needed it was easily accessible and ample parking for fairly large vehicles. Hope to return."

"This home was cozy and offered all we needed. The renovated space was beautiful. Weather was not in our favor, so we did not get to utilize the outdoor space, but inside offered plenty of room for our group. "

"Very nice cabin in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed our stay."

"This cabin is so unique and charming! We enjoyed listening to the rain on the tin roof swaying on the screened in porch swing. The fire from the gas logs and the comfortable couches provided a perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day. The location to hiking trails, good restaurants and snow tubing couldn’t be beat. We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain getaway!"

It was my daughter’s birthday & the 3 girls had the basement to themselves which included bedroom (double bed & twin bunk), bathroom, game room with pool table & TV, as well as access to deck with hot tub. The owner thought of everything! Places to put wet boots, hooks, extra blankets, pillows, a very well stocked and organized kitchen. "The cabin is just like the pictures, it had everything you could need and was very close to any activities. It was the perfect getaway and after hours on the slopes the hot tub was heavenly. It really feels like your staying in a story book, couldn't be happier with our stay. "

"Cain is wonderful in a great location and very spacious. Everything was as advertised everything worked. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water. The views from this property are amazing. Fires in the fireplace every night. We did not have any negative issues even though we were snowed in for 2 days we had an amazing time! Be sure to have 4/all wheel during snow season. Newland has a lot to offer as does Roan Mountain. Mikes coffee is really good just a short drive into Newland. Not gonna...

"Our party of four adults really enjoyed the cabin. We mostly treated it like a motel room. No cooking or use of the jacuzzi. But the kitchen was set up well and seemed to have all the equipment and utensils necessary. The decor was rustic without going overboard. Beds were comfy.Great location, Easy access to property. We may certainly return if the need for a larger place arises again."

"We had a great stay here! Beautiful views. Short walk to top of mountain. If stairs aren’t your thing you might want to skip. We really had a wonderful time getting away from the city. Hosts communicated all through out the stay. They are really accommodating folks. Can’t wait to see this place with some snow! Wish I was still there <3"

"This property was a convenient, comfortable spot for our family of 5 (kids ranging from 3-8). Comfortable beds, awesome views! A few things to note: when we booked, we were under the impression that it was on the slopes as per the photons provided(which have since been updated). It is a short walk. Not a problem, but we were looking to be able to step out on the slopes/watch skiers! The house is comfortable, but the walls are thin and you can hear everything. "Amazing property, we loved how large the house is and all the separate living areas. Great for large families. Must drive to slopes but not that far. "

"The layout, size, objects available, things to use, or do at the home, and location were fantastic. We really enjoyed the open property concept outside, as well as the size of the yard to enjoy, on the TOP of a hill. Ski resort and hill were .1 miles away. The hot water was the only issue, that went off and on a few times during the stay. Great house and would definitely stay again."
