"Very nice cabin in a quiet wooded area. Went with a dog and they had a very large dog lot right in front of the cabins. Nice quaint bar across the street, and a nice park down the street with river access. Quiet, laid back weekend. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay. Tucked away in the woods but quite close to Blowing Rock - it was a great choice. Would stay again! It took a few tries to figure out the K-cup side of the coffeemaker, as the guide is on the side you can’t see. And we’d have appreciated instructions for the LR TV and all the components. "We came up for a late anniversary celebration. The property is on a mountain. With front-wheel drive you would not have any issues driving up. The property is beautiful, lots of space, lovely apple trees, pond was nice to fish from. We sat outside every morning with our coffee. Our inside dog loved sitting on the porch all day. "

"We have stayed in Sugar Mtn countless times over the decades, both in houses and condos, and we thoroughly enjoyed this round house. It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that!
