"Property was wonderful. Great security and staff. John is a wonderful host. Everything was as listed and his response to inquiries immediate and detailed. From this property we were able to visit a zoo, butterfly sanctuary, a volcano, a hot spring, the canal, old city of panama, costa rica and many beaches. Horseback rides on the beach to our front with great restaurant choices nearby. I recommend this property as high as I am able. Having stayed at VRBO properties in Uruguay, Puerto Rico...

"I stayed for 2 nights with my mother at Dennis's wonderful Cabanas. It is a lovely property and has a wonderful vintage 50's era style and charm to the property. There was a sweet dog named Mimosa who was a greeter and become a fast friend during our stay there. The rooms are larger than we thought. It was a comfortable stay in the Cabanas and it has great hot showers. There were plenty of places to sit outside on the porch and also a hammock to relax in. "This is a hard one because we've stayed in many 5 star rentals and this one just didn't measure up. Toilet ring. Ant infestation. No pots big enough to make a large batch of both spaghetti and sauce. No blender. No stools for the eat-at counter. All of our other rentals were so much better. Host was friendly and helpful but somehow it just didn't suit us."
