"We (a group of 5 friends and family) stayed here for 4 days after doing a kayak trip. It was fantastic - relaxed, colorful and quiet. It is not on the malecon but is within easy walking distance. The staff was so helpful! "Continental breakfast" included eggs, beans, fruit and tortillas - we rarely had to buy lunch. We rented bikes at a small price, and learned that the owners offer outdoor adventure planning. This was a good find for a R&R base in La Paz. Highly recommend nearby La Costa for affordable, fresh seafood dinner (and great mezcalitas)."

"We enjoyed our stay at El Moro. We enjoyed our spacious suite and the pool area. Pool water was cold. We had 2 meals at the on site restaurant and they both were delicious. We liked being on the Malecon but not in the central zone. We were still able to walk to many places. We also liked the little patio area we had outside of our room. "

"I found this hotel for a quick trip with friends to La Paz. The hotel is a fraction of the cost of some of the other hotels that are right on the beach even though this hotel is only 3 small streets away from the Malecon (about a 5-7 minute walk). I booked two separate rooms and when we arrived (around 930) the front desk was very welcoming and was able to let us check into our rooms since they were ready. The rooms were huge and had two very comfy queen beds. The rooms were extremely clean (clean floors, walls, and blankets smelled good) and were simple (small closet, dresser, and table). We had a balcony in both are rooms which were a nice touch). There was a good working AC unit and toiletries in the bathroom. The only con was the room did not have a fridge. The property has this cool open space in the middle with a large pool that was extremely clean and they cleaned every night. There’s a restaurant on property with good food and drinks. "
