"I would Refugio Lodge to anyone and everyone traveling to Tamarindo. ALL of the staff were so amazing and beyond accommodating. A special shout out to the youngest staff member, Pablo! "We stayed in there BOHO Tamarindo for 5 nights. We loved the staff including Sniler, Edward, Juan and Gilbert. It is a simple place with 8 basic rooms and house. Has a small pool and some shared living space. It is in great location for walking to Tamarindo. You have access to Langosta Beach Club included. Worst part is that there is construction going on in the lots surrounding the property."

"I had a 3 night stay at the Beach Bungalows in Tamarindo and I do not have enough good things to say about it! The rooms are unique, beautiful and have wonderful amenities such as private hammocks and loungers. The property has a beautiful pool in the center and Shannon and her staff were gracious and attentive hosts. Its close enough to the city center that getting around on foot is easy but secluded enough to enjoy time to relax."

"Hotel is well maintained. Rooms are so small that there is no room for your luggage or chair to sit in. They post that the room will sleep four. No way. These are full size beds because two queen size beds would leave even less room. They gave us two rooms overlooking the busy road all the while we were the only guest. The motorcycles without mufflers were the worst. Why they chose to not but us in quieter rooms that were available is reason enough for me to not recommend staying here."
