"After reading a few reviews I was a bit worried about what to expect, but it was nothing that I experienced. Staff were great, breakfast was awesome, and property was beautiful. Felt like a boutique hotel but with a very cool theme. Beach access is great and wonderful for watching sunsets. Pools are also great and both can get a little crowded but never too much. We had 0 issues with safety either. Walkable to the town and far enough for quiet nights. 10/10 experience. We never got our welcome drink I guess cause we checked in in the evening but breakfast was pretty good and solid. Didn’t have all inclusive so kind of felt like you couldn’t get anything at the hotel past breakfast and that could be a little more clear but never had WiFi issues either. A beautiful hotel and experience, would recommend for sure. If only doing all inclusive on a night or two, the BBQ night and Mexican night looked the best and had music. Would recommend for the hotel to get golf carts as not everyone wants to drive the bigger Polaris. Bike riding on sand is not easy. "

"This is an underrated property. It has gorgeous, mature plants - something not found in other resorts. We loved the architecture, with grand palapas that felt like tropical Mexico. The facilities are in the process of being renovated, and our unit was quite lovely. The food is pretty good - we opted not for all-inclusive with the plan to explore options nearby but ended up eating most meals onsite because the back patio was a wonderful space and the staff were awesome (shout out to Hector, Karla, Juan, and the hostess!). And, a great amenity not to be overlooked: incredibly comfortable beach chairs. We wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else on Holbox!"

"An exceptionally curated environment. Excellent food, earthy/groovy/peaceful music, extremely engaged and helpful staff. Well considered indoor/outdoor experiences, stunning ocean view and beach, rustic chic rooms (we tried both a treehouse and a temple room (slightly preferred) over a long stay. Overall, a truly soulful respite and a destination worth seeking out. "

"Laura the hotel manager gave us a personal experience. She always checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had what we needed. The cleaning staff were so lovely and kept our room beautiful. We loved coming back to it every day to relax. We loved the rooftop pool and had it to ourselves most of the time. The views of the ocean as well as the town were great. The perfect birds eye view. We could walk everywhere and it was quiet and we had very restful and comfortable night’s sleep.
