"You walk in the front door and WOW! Everything is beautiful and luxurious, but comfy and homey. Easily comparable to 5-star hotels only so much better! Full kitchen with dining table for 4, roomy and comfy living room, luxurious bathroom and the 2 bedrooms were perfect for our party. One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in away from home! "We enjoyed staying at the Black Bear Abode. House was clean and very inviting. Heads up though, there are no washcloths and only a couple of towels in each bathroom. Also, we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy some. Beds were very soft and pillows were very thin. Just expected more for the cost we psid. "

"I booked family to stay at this beautiful rental while preparing to move from our home, Alaska. Mom is 80 and will more than likely not be back. Mom called on day 1 and told me it was a 5 star accomodation. Kelly was AMAZING! Highly recommend a stay here ❤️"

I would highly recommend this place to anyone, (even up to a family of 4) who wanted a mountanside view not too far away from the city in AK. "Small clean, modern cabin with fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. Very comfortable with luxurious bedding. Snacks and breakfast items were appreciated. Convenient location in Wasilla on the way to Denali. Two beds upstairs in a loft area. We would suggest adding a night light for the stairs from the loft area. Highly recommended. "

"Wonderful one bedroom on ground floor great for person with bad knees. Only drawback was being vertically challenged top shelf for dishes was quite a stretch. Wonderful walk in shower and really enjoyed the electric fireplace . Would definitely stay here again only about 6 blocks to great cafe (vagabond). Easy parking and great sunsets with the hills around. "
