"Great pool, room required some routine maintenance to bring it up to scratch. Noisy due to location - which was a great location, so bring some ear plugs to combat this. You will also need to grab some bug spray to beat the mosquitoes. Servicing seemed to be done on request not daily. No shampoo or conditioner supplied. Toothbrush and soap was supplied though. Over all a cheep and cheerful place to stay but could easily be improved to amazing with some added touches."

"Might've been a nice play to stay a few years back but I think covid was a bit hard on this place - falling apart and doesn't look much like the photos - it's pretty dead. Breakfast not included despite what it says on the listing - kitchen not a thing - only staff were a couple of teenagers who didn't really seem to know what was going on. Lots of wildlife in the rooms if you like that sort of thing - my foot went through the floor of the bungalow I was staying in at one point. Had paid...

"We stayed 2 nights in the Jelo Villa, at the Mawun Raya resort ... perched on a hill, with a wonderful view! The villa was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was excellent, the pool and landscaping fabulous (except for a mature dying tree in front of our villa that should be trimmed) and above all, the friendly and always smiling staff!
