"Freundliches Personal, einfacher Check-In, sehr sauberes und ruhiges Zimmer und persönlich eine sehr angenehme Matratze. Umgebung auch sehr ruhig und dennoch in drei Minuten direkt auf dem zentralen Marktplatz. Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, doch nicht abgewohnt. Frühstück stand zu meinem Besuch noch nicht zur Verfügung (noch in Planung). Mir persönlich war das Zimmer zu warm geheizt (Winterzeit), doch leider konnte die Heizung nicht runter reguliert werden. "We booked to stay at Haus Saarland am Rennsteig. On arriving at the hotel we found it was closed and a notice telling us to go to another hotel, Hotel Thuringenschanze which was about 0.5km away. Since we had arrived by public transport we had to walk there with our luggage. On checking in at the new hotel we were not offered Oberhof guest cards.
