"Let’s make this brief: just 15 minutes by taxi from Rosenheim train station. So quiet it is unbelievable. The apartment is in mint condition. Underfloor heating (such a pleasure). "Stayed 4 nights during Oktoberfest and really enjoyed the experience of staying out in the country for the days we explored Oktoberfest/Munich! Although we had a rental car (due to the fact that we were exploring other areas of Bavaria before and after Munich), we certainly didn't need to use it on these specific days, as the train is very convenient to get into Munich! Just be sure to coordinate departure times to/from Munich with the train schedule, as during non-peak hours the train runs...
