"No check in data at 18.00! Electricity Circuit / cut off electricity in the Appartement at 18.30 - No reception in the building and poor communication via cellphone with property office, staff doesn’t like to take calls („we have so many calls“) but call back if u r lucky. No Technician available for my Appartement until next day. Appartement is ok until u have a problem, then u r lost… PS they gave me other Appartement but bed room had no light, tv didn’t work. Funny experience."

"Wir haben uns in der großzügigen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Das Objekt liegt am Weser-Radweg. Ausflüge per Rad nach Hameln, Bad Pyrmont, Bodenwerder und der Emmer-Radweg lassen sich gut fahren. Hier kann man gerne ein paar Tage länger verweilen."

"Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, dabei modern und gemütlich. Sie ist sauber und hat alle Gegenstände und Elektrogeräte, die man in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt. Außerdem sind die Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Wir waren von der Ferienwohnung sehr enttäuscht, da es diese den Titel nicht verdient hat. Der Boden war dreckig, die Wohnung bräuchte insgesamt ein gründliche Reinigung. Küchenschubladen, Töpfe waren nicht sauber. Die Betten waren bequem, aber es fehlten Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten an den Fenstern, eine Nachttischlampe,... Für die (nicht vorhandene) Ausstattung haben wir viel zu viel bezahlt. Da ist jedes Low-Budget-Hotel preiswerter und sauberer. Der Vermieter hat nachträglich nicht mehr auf...

Excellent communication beforehand with the host, Melanie, responding promptly to my queries, albeit in German. Her mother lives in the apartment below so was on hand for our arrival from the UK, and kindly gave us some tinned meat and butter for a simple supper as there were no shops open in walking distance. "Property was in a great location for us. Near family that we were visiting and had a great place for the kids to play in Alfeld (7 Berge Bad). Listing wasn’t quite clear that the rooms were on the second and third floors, but the third floor can be closed off to keep little ones contained. Overall was a good place to stay - the third floor suite appeared to have been recently updated, while the second floor had not."

"We highly recommend to stay in Apartment Alpha. A bit out of the beaten path, but this was plus for us. Lots of walkable nature paths around, and historically rich area. The apartment is really beautiful, quiet and spacious. Bring your hammock (there was a wooden hammock frame on the grass). The church bells and the birds will tell you the time of the day. "
