"Everything was perfect. Had a large family room for 4. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast, coffee and cake and dinner were amazing. Loved how peaceful it was, listening to distant cow bells. Forest walks on site as well. Would definitely go back."

"We had an excellent overnight stay. Parking was adjacent to the property and convenient to our room. Breakfast was very good. Warm welcome and friendly conversation, took time to give us advice on travel into Freiburg. We took the tram which was excellent, only a few stops into city centre from village short distance away. Perfect location, peaceful location close to city transport links. We would have used the restaurant but we were visiting friends who live in the same village. "

"Hotel Hirschen Glottertal is a lovely hotel in a very quaint village. This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a home base around many hiking trails and beautiful nature. The facilities and amenities are exceptional. It was a delight to explore the wonderful scenery and come back from a hike to a relaxing sauna session. The staff were accommodating and the breakfast and restaurant delightful. "
