"There weren’t any restaurants nearby and we arrived around dinnertime. The owner offered to make us food. I had a delicious soup and homemade bread. My husband had fish. Both very good and a great value! If she has made her homemade chocolate cake just say, Yes! The building is an old Boarding School. The owner went to school there when she was a girl. So cool to stay in a place with an interesting history. We had dinner in the theatre/gym of the school. The owners are super friendly and kind. "

"Best thing about this hotel is the aurora calling service, was able to view the aurora while our stay, love the view since it’s a lake at the back of the hotel and make it easier to take aurora photos there. Towels not so clean and housekeeping did not check the shower gel bottles as it was empty when we checked in. Staffs are helpful to give us extra bottle of shower gel to use, overall still recommend for this hotel."
