"They gave us a romantic set up with swab towels, tea light candles, and lots of chocolates for our honeymoon stay! The all the food was superb, location phenomenal, and staff were excellent! Wonderful, clean facilities! This was the perfect base point for exploring the area and visiting Jungfraujoch! Will definitely be staying again! "

"This is a new hotel with spectacular contemporary design and great attention to guest comfort. Although the county road and rail line to Zermatt are close, the soundproofing is excellent and my room was totally quiet. Mountain views in all four directions. Direct elevator to parking. Two upscale supermarkets nearby provide lots of affordable healthy meal options. Transport connections to Zermatt are as convenient as if you were staying in Zermatt."

"Location, location, location! The location of this hotel is unbeatable. Seriously it’s just right in front of the train station. You can wear your ski boots with your ski gears walk out from the hotel’s ski room directly to catch the train in 2 mins. It’s just like a ski-in/ski-out hotel to Zermatt. The free breakfast was good while dinner lack of choices. Overall, it’s an excellent hotel if you want to ski in Zermatt, but don’t want to stay in Zermatt town (No car allowed)."

"We loved our time at stockalpenhof, from the minute we walked in the door we were welcomed by a very friendly lady, who made us feel welcome, showed us the ski/ bike room for our skis and gave us our discount card for the region which we used at the thermal bath in a near by town and the ice cream shop right next door, we would return and recommended to our friends, a very easy walk from the trainstation up bahanhofstrasse."

"Un accueil excellent et flexible. Notre séjour a été tumultueux, entre trains retardés et enfant malade. Nous avons reçu un accueil et une empathie rare à trouver dans les établissements hôteliers de nos jours. J'aime les grandes maisons pour la valeur ajoutée aux séjours. Aucune maison 5* où j'ai logé n'a fait preuve de tant d'empathie et humanité. Cette maison m'a enseigné de revoir mes standards de snob. Etant du métier par héritage familial, je ne pèse pas mes mots. Un lieu emprunt d'amour par ceux qui le font vivre. Metci!"
