"Great value hotel. Excellent service from front desk. Good breakfast. I had a standard twin overlooking the castle. Although the road was busy, the windows were double glazed and blocked all noise, which I’m quite sensitive to. The colours in my room were not appealing, but the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable-not too firm. Don’t understand why hotels such as this one have uncarpeted floors- footfalls can be heard from above. This is an annoyance. Fortunately, the guests above were considerate, as I tried to be to those below me. All and all, a really good stay!"
