"An easy walk from National Theater station which has express and regular trains to the airport; a couple of blocks (probably the closest hotel) the summer ferry to 'museum' (Bygdoy) island, where you'll want to spend all day for the array of world-class museums. A block or so from Town Hall -Nobel and National museums; the Theater and Parliament in the other direction; just a block off the main drag with all the good tram and bus lines. ,,,So, possibly the best-located hotel in the city, yet nestled in a quiet corner. The breakfast buffet is also amazing, in a beautiful atrium; the staff is friendly & knowledgeable, and the room is clean with everything one needs. Comfy bed, good lighting, spacious bathroom. A perfect stay."

"My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at Thon Hotel Cecil. The young women at reception were fantastic and so kind and helpful. We had a couple minor issues with our room we didn't notice until the first morning, but when we told reception, they gave us a time they would look at the problems (also informed we could switch rooms if the issues weren't solvable). We walked around Oslo for a while, and when we returned, the minor issues were fixed. Couldn't be happier with the communication and assistance. The breakfast in the morning was phenomenal also. Absolutely 10/10 and if we get the chance to come back to Oslo again, would definitely stay here."
