"Having never been to Edisto before, I had no idea about the community where we'd be staying. The overall community felt incredibly friendly. The space itself was ideal for the needs of my friend and me. The furniture was cozy, the little patio was perfect for sitting outside, the kitchen, while small, had everything we needed for cooking (even a grater), and the beds rocked!!! We could walk to the seafood shop, restaurant next to it, and the boat/bike rental shop next to that. We bought great seafood and had an awesome kayak tour. State Park, with the best beach, was a really quick drive and then there were ample things to do, such as Botany Bay and ACE Basin (a little longer drive). My one thought would be to put a book together of area options, especially if the internet goes out as it did on my first day. I would absolutely stay again the next time I visit."

"The accommodations were great but there was nothing to do on the island. The food was mediocre at best. We had to travel to Charleston to have fun."

"The Gulls Nest was an absolute gem of a location with the beach right across the street. The place was exceptionally clean and was a very comfortable place to stay. Be sure to pay notice to the details that no linens or towels are provided. "

"Comfortable one bedroom condo with a view of the golf course, turtles (bunches of them in the pond), a kingfisher, and elegant egret out the front patio door. The area was fairly quiet and other guests were friendly. The location is great for biking around the area as well as Edisto beach. The host gets 5 stars for communication, responding to queries and bending over backwards to be helpful. We hope to book the space again in the future."

"Our family enjoyed our time in Edisto Island in this fun beach house. It is a fun preserved piece of history on the each. The porch swing was amazing for sunrise views and the beach has amazing shells providing hours of entertainment for the kids. Only downfall is sharing 1 shower but you can make it work. Would go back!"
