The library / sitting room area is a great place to spend time with family and friends. We could not get over how warm the house was, despite the freezing temperatures. "Reviews and descriptions are spot on! A very cozy house with a babbling brooke running throught the back yard. An absolute perfect location to walk to restaurants, bars and the grocery store. A small ski Town vibe throughout. Jay peak was a short 15 min drive away."

Plenty of room in both the house and property, where we can sit out by fire or use the hot tub, and not worry about the closeness of any neighbors if were up a little late. "Nice place to stay for a ski vacation. The location is not even 20 minutes from Stowe and was very convenient to the rest of the local amenities. Arrival was easy and the place was warm, cozy and well stocked with just about any kitchen utensil you could want. The kids also appreciated the good internet and streaming tv services after a long day of skiing. The rental was also very clean, for the most part. My only complaint, and it’s not a deal breaker for us having lived in some crazy parts of...

"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...

"This is a quintessential inn located in the heart of the lovely Stowe! Where to start. Excellent room, quaint but updated. Lots of space and the gas fireplace really was wonderful. Gorgeous indoor/outdoor hot tub and spa option. We loved the hot tub outside after a day skiing. Location is unbeatable. In the heart of Stowe, lots going on and a good restaurant within it too. The shuttle to the mountain is right across the street making the trip to Stowe to ski so easy. Stowe is really a lovely town and this inn made our experience that much better. "

Perfect place to stay for skiers

"We will absolutely stay here again. So close to Stowe Mountain. Comfy bed, super clean room. The woman at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. We skipped breakfast to get skiing early, but we went for the afternoon snacks - cheese and crackers, coffee and tea, cookies, a delicious-looking soup in a crock pot, chatting with other skiers about their day on the slopes. Highly recommend this lovely place."
