"My room did have a balcony, but the doors had to be kept closed to keep the heat out and also because of mosquitos. The hotel has a beautifully tiled foyer - it must have been renovated since the image in the listing was taken. "My husband and I initially booked our stay for about 3-4 days, but once we got there, my husband hurt his back and we extended our stay. The staff definitely went over and beyond to take care of us. We requested a 3-day treatment from the male massage therapist on staff - which helped my husband immensely. On top of it, we requested the staff for a doctor, who prescribed medicine for my husband, which the staff went and got for us. They checked on us and inquired about his back every single time...

It is a short walk to ferries that one can take to Ernakulam thereby cutting down on travel time.
