"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed. Convenient, clean and great Breakfast

"Great hotel and friendly staff. I want to thank particularly the chef. At breakfast he offered halal chicken sausages using his own initiative. He was a black guy and would specifically say thank you to him. It was very kind gesture. Will definitely be staying again in the near future. "

Great value, large room with a great view

"Stayed here following a funeral wake. The room was excellent, large room with a huge bed, overlooking the golf course. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, although they were very understaffed for the number of people present. At lunchtime in particular, just one person waiting on tables and running the bar and coffees. We had bar food at lunchtime and again in the evening. The food was all well presented and very tasty. Overall excellent and very good value for money."
