However, it was poorly maintained (light in bathroom was out with no bulb replacement, window shades broken), dated. dirty in some regards (stained towels, pots with stuck-on-food, cigarette smells, prior guests half eaten sandwich in fridge and socks on floor) and offered zero perks like some rentals. "We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. The venue was very convenient both to Lausanne and Geneva and there was ample parking at the hotel. We had a meal at the restaurant which was very good but we were in the courtyard and it began...
