"Le Crebillon is an absolutely gorgeous house! Decorated with style and impeccable taste, it allows a large group (we were seven adults) to gather in the living and dining spaces while the very comfortable rooms are quiet. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances and everything a foody needs! The courtyard is beautiful and the upper level garden is a great place to relax. Our hosts were attentive and generous with their time, always there to help or advise. Flavigny is like a picture postcard...

"The house was great. Comfortable, clean and facilities were a high standard. The balcony overlooking the garden and village a bonus. The garden too was lovely, good seating and shelter when the sun was too hot. Christine made us very welcome even down to a welcome pack. Would thoroughly recommend staying there."

"The house was very clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped and situated in the heart of a quiet, traditional French village that was a really good base for seeing the area. The two en-suites and English television made it especially appealing to us. A really special feature of the house was that the owner delivered great freshly baked bread every morning and absolutely delicious, generous sized servings of home-cooked French meals as ordered. The three meals that we ordered were all yummy...

"Das nördliche Burgund ist eine wunderbare Landschaft, eine Erholung fürs Auge ... und fürs Ohr; die Orte sind klein und überschaubar, allerdings muss man zum Selbstversorger werden, da es kaum Restaurants, Cafés oder Brasserien gibt, die etwa in der Nachsaison, geöffnet haben. In Baigneux-les-Juifs gibt es immerhin einen kleinen Proxi, in dem man morgens (sauf lundi) sein Baguette kaufen kann. (Der nächste richtige Supermarkt ist übrigens in Venaray oder etwas weiter Montbard). Dafür trifft man...
