"Was a bit sceptical after reading some older reviews but everything was clean and tidy and building maintained well Considering what must be a unique style. Lift was small so if you do have lots of luggage take note. Breakfast staff polite and courteous. Breakfast not extensive but croissants good. Some cats about so if allergic be aware"

"Very nice hotel and amenities. The morning attendant at the front desk for check in is so amazing, helpful and kind. He really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The afternoon attendant was not, he did not want to answer our questions or help. It was a very nice hotel with excellent bedding, bathrooms and I would highly recommend it. The same morning attendant held our bags for us after check out so we could attend a tour. I thought the stairway was very pretty and no hassle at all. We really enjoyed our rooms, the hotel s as me stay. The nespresso machine in the room was very appreciated. Highly recommend! "

"Great location, room is basic with no TV etc but that didn't bother me as I was out a lot so wasn't spending any time really at the hotel. Clean room, good shower and bed was comfy enough. My only issue was the lack of air con, I was very warm and found it difficult to sleep and you can't open the windows to cool the room down. "
