"The room was absolutely fine for one night's solo travel as I went to a friend's party. I didn't want to spend a fortune and the room was a good price in the right location. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "This is a quaint little place with only a few rooms which are tastefully decorated. The room is warm and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and fresh water. Parking is available and free. I had dinner at the pub and it was tasty (expect to pay £25-30 pp.). Breakfast is include and cooked to order (takes a bit of time). My only issue is with the unreliable wifi which impacted me in a negative way because I was on a work trip. Otherwise this is a nice place to stay. "
