"We were visiting family in Raufoss and this was the only lodging available in the area. It’s pricy for what you get but there’s no other option near Raufoss. The property is old and small. Expect a very basic room with no A/C (pretty common in Europe). There are drinks you can buy at the reception desk and breakfast is available."

"Great room except view was a wall. Had everything we could need along w/icebox & stove. Shower was so small you had to turn sideways to get in! Food was expensive in dining area. $50 for nachos & a club sandwich. Nice stay but expensive"

"The hotel is on the middle of big moutain. No address in GPS. No GPS point in homepage either. To arrive there, I should ask to many people. Very difficult to drive there. I don't recommend this hotel. In sky season, it could be good place."

" Very service minded personnel, the apartments were big and clean, perfect with indoor parking with direct indoor connection to the apartment. Swimmin pool was very good with extra bonus of mountain views. Highly recommend Havsdalsgrenda whatever season."

"This is a comfortable hotel with stunning views across the Drammensfjord. I am sure the hotel comes into its own in the summer, but this was January and very much in the off-season. Nevertheless we were made very welcome by the courteous and friendly staff. The bedroom was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The gym and pool are excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel."
