"The cottage is just perfect for a quiet relaxing vacation! It was extremely clean and it had all the provisions you’d have in your own home. You can tell the owners take great pride in this cottage, they are also extremely responsive. We rented in April so they came out a couple hours in advance to turn the heat on for us which was above & beyond! We loved the wildlife, we saw so many deer! They have a guest book, so we enjoyed reading the comments from previous guests. One couple had their honeymoon there, another got engaged, a lot of families, and even friends weekends. They have created this little retreat for us to all enjoy. We chose this location because we wanted to explore a different area of the province (we are from Ontario). Lunenburg is quaint and so pretty. We walked into a coffee shop and they had locals playing music such a great East Coast thing! The local pub was fun! The water front is stunning. We were off season so didn’t get to do more than simple walks in Lunenburg itself but there are also a ton of great trails for hiking so that was great! Blue Rocks is a pretty drive. The fresh fish market is where we bought all our fish, we cooked up lobster, scallops, halibut etc. Thank you so much to the hosts Frank & Val! "

"The home was so clean and organized. We all enjoyed the soft tub. The kids loved the games and books. Beautiful location with a short walk to the park and ocean. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything to make a meal. We just brought the food. The host Karen checked on us to make sure all was good. Definitely a roomy home we would stay in again.
